This formula comes from Hong Jiu-yu's early Qing Dynasty She Sheng Mi Pou (Secret Investigations into Obtaining Life [i.e., Health]) published in 1638 CE. It has been slightly modified by replacing Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris) with Hu Po (Succinum). Our version is a 7:1 powdered extract in a 750 mg caplet.
