Ingredients (Pin Yin): Shi liu pi, Hai ge ke, Tian san qi, Huang lian, Hu po, Zhu dan fen
Ingredients: Punica granatum rind, Cyclina sinensis shell, Panax notoginseng root, Coptis chinensis rhizome, Succinum resin, Sus scrofa domestica bile
Other Ingredients: Honey, Activated carbon, Botanical wax
TCM Functions: Clears Damp-Heat from the Intestines, Cools the Blood, Invigorates the Blood
Standard Dosage: 4-6 pills, 3 x per day
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In acute cases, dosage may be increased to 6 pills every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the formula takes effect. May be used short-term for a few weeks. Once acute symptoms are resolved, this formula should be discontinued and replaced with an appropriate constitutional formula.Contraindications (all):
